Examination Copies

Requesting an Examination Copy for Courses in the US and Canada

Professors who agree to our Examination Policy may request an Examination Copy of a text for a course they teach or are currently slated to teach through this website.  

University Science Books Examination Copy Policy

Professors who adopt the requested text for their course may keep the examination copy as their complimentary desk copy.  If the book is not adopted, professors agree that they will either return the examination copy, or purchase it at a 15% academic discount.   

The request to receive your examination copy must include the following info:

• Your name and academic shipping address, including street address for UPS or US Mail delivery

• Your email address

• Name of textbook to be examined

• Name and number of course for which the book will be considered

• Date the course is offered

• Anticipated number of students

• Has this text already been adopted?  Yes or No?

• Name of the textbook used previously
